A Taste of Bellevue: A Delicious Success
On Saturday, September 14, 2024, Bellevue Forward hosted its inaugural “A Taste of Bellevue” event, welcoming over 100 attendees throughout the day. Held from 1 to 7 PM in the parking lot of the future home of Lincoln Avenue Brewery on North Sprague Avenue, the event brought together individuals and families for a fun-filled afternoon of delicious food, unique experiences, and community bonding. With various offerings from some of Bellevue’s most beloved restaurants, the event captured the town’s spirit and provided a vibrant showcase of local culinary talent.

Featured vendors included Tavern Pizza, Grille 565, 202 Hometown Tacos, Scoops in Bellevue, and Lincoln Avenue Brewery, all of which brought crowd-pleasing dishes to the table. Some of the standout favorites included Lincoln Avenue Brewery’s craft beers, Tavern Pizza’s signature pies, Grille 565’s mouth-watering BBQ Pulled Pork sandwiches, 202 Hometown Tacos’ popular walking tacos, and Scoops’ delightful pumpkin rolls. For something a bit different, The Menagerie, Bellevue’s metaphysical shop, offered tarot card readings and guided card readings, adding an extra layer of intrigue and fun to the event.
Attendees were enthusiastic about the event, expressing excitement about its location and the vibrant atmosphere created by the participating businesses. The parking lot of the soon-to-be-opened Lincoln Avenue Brewery provided the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of good food and good company. Many were thrilled to support their favorite local eateries while also enjoying the opportunity to try new flavors and dishes in a community-centric environment.
Bellevue Forward, the organization behind the event, is committed to creating opportunities that support both Bellevue’s business and residential communities. “A Taste of Bellevue” is just one example of how we aim to foster economic growth by organizing engaging events that bring people together and encourage them to shop and dine locally. As we continue to host more events like this, we look forward to seeing Bellevue’s businesses and residents thrive together in a sustainable, flourishing community.
SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!
