We’re thrilled to share some exciting news—Bellevue has made an incredible showing in this year’s Pittsburgh City Paper “Best of PGH” competition! Out of 86 initial nominations from our community, an impressive 51 entries advanced to the final voting round. That’s a 61% success rate—an amazing reflection of the talent, creativity, and passion right here in our borough. From delicious brunches and top-notch baristas to dynamic nonprofits and vibrant markets, Bellevue continues to show up and show off in a big way.
The “Best of PGH” competition recognizes the movers, makers, and magic across the Pittsburgh region. This annual celebration lifts up the people, places, and organizations that make our city shine. From now until August 22, the public can vote once per day, per category, for their favorite finalists. And Bellevue is everywhere—from Best Chef and Best Wings to Best Non-Profit and Best Street Fair. We’re especially proud to see so many of our small businesses and creatives being recognized for the heart and hard work they bring to our community.
A few hometown favorites that made it into the top five include Wunderbar, LAB, Bellevue Farmers Market, Yoga for the People, and The Menagerie, just to name a few. Bellevue Forward is also a finalist for Best Non-Profit, and we couldn’t be more honored! This recognition belongs to the entire community—you’ve helped build something truly special, and now it’s time to show your support. Every vote helps shine a brighter spotlight on the people and places that make Bellevue such a gem.
Voting is open through August 22, and you can find the link to cast your votes in the comments. If you notice a finalist from Bellevue that we missed, drop it in the comments, too—we want to celebrate everyone! Let’s rally together and make this Bellevue’s biggest “Best of PGH” year yet. 💛🏆
